Official Video Application Guide Duration: 1-Minute Overview

The 4-Step Daily Routine

Follow these steps once every 24 hours for the first 3 to 5 days of healing.

01
Step One

CLEAN

  • Wash thoroughly with a fragrance-free, pH-balanced antibacterial soap.
  • Rinse warm to loosen excess plasma, then finish with a cool water rinse to calm the skin.
  • Avoid green soap, alcohol wipes, tattoo finishers, or fragranced products on healing skin.
Why Warm & Cool Rinse? (Click to expand)

Warm water improves surfactant action to dissolve excess plasma and lubricant without harsh scrubbing.

Cool water reduces micro-oozing and redness, creating a calm, stable surface for the spray barrier to adhere to cleanly.

02
Step Two

DRY

  • Pat dry thoroughly with a clean, disposable paper towel or sterile gauze.
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes until the skin looks completely matte before spraying.
  • Do not rub or use cloth towels that can shed fibres or bacteria.
Why Pat & Wait for Matte Finish? (Click to expand)
Patting preserves the early fibrin network supporting cellular repair. Waiting for a matte surface prevents moisture from diluting the spray barrier during application.
03
Step Three

SPRAY

  • Shake can for 10 seconds. Hold can 20 cm (8 inches) away from the tattoo.
  • Apply 2 to 3 light coats, allowing 60 seconds between coats to set into a flexible, breathable barrier.
  • Do not wrap, wipe, or combine with balms, creams, or gels. TATTOO SPRAY® replaces them all.
Application Tips & Brief Sting Info (Click to expand)

Brief Sting: A mild 5-10 second sting is normal due to ethanol sanitising micro-abrasions. It quickly passes, leaving a cool, protective seal.

Clothing: Once dry (about 60s), wear clean, loose cotton or bamboo clothing. The non-tacky film will not stick to fabric.

04
Step Four

REPEAT

  • Wash off and reapply once every 24 hours for up to 5 days.
  • After Day 5, when skin is functional and sealed, switch to a light fragrance-free moisturiser if needed.

Essential Pro Tips

  • Use only fragrance-free, pH-balanced antibacterial cleansers.
  • Do not mix with balms, oils, creams, or plastic wraps during the 5-day cycle.
  • Wear clean, loose, breathable clothing (cotton or bamboo).
  • Avoid swimming, baths, saunas, and intense workouts for the first 5 days.

Night Care & Water Exposure

  • Night Care: Complete the cycle ~1 hour before bed so the film is set. Sleep on clean sheets.
  • Water Exposure: The barrier is breathable but not waterproof. If soaked, clean, pat dry, and reapply.
  • Crumbling: If film crumbles, it means too many layers were applied. Use 2-3 thin coats allowed to dry 60s.
